We generally share access to common areas and keep them clean/tidy to the best of our ability. The utilities are split 3 ways, and any other expenses we incur for general use/maintenance of the house.
Our house is located on the main drag in Glen Park. There is ample safe street parking, and it is within walking distance of BART and Muni.
The 280 Freeway entrance is also close by.
